Ironic Iconic

“I make a point of staying right at the edge of poverty. I don’t have a pair of pants without a hole in them, and the only pair of boots I have are on my feet. I don’t mess around with unnecessary stuff, so I don’t need much money. I believe it’s meant to be that way. There’s a ‘struggle’ you have to go through, and if you make a lot of money it doesn’t make the ‘struggle’ go away. It just makes it more complicated. If you keep poor, the struggle is simple. “

Really was trying to do the whole build for under 1k so not too bad !!, i'd have done a whole lot better if the purchase price wasn't £600 but that'll teach me to buy a T&T'd bike only to cut it up...

I cant think of any other costs (apart from a start switch) as all i've got left to do is tidying a few things up and a bit of fettling here n there...

Let there be Light

Well that was a fucktard... Got the wiring kinda sorted (still needs tidying up) but at least all the lights are up and working and the motors spinning, the turn relay units kaputt but I've got one coming from eBay for £9 so that shouold sort those out, if they dont well they'll end up in the bin as there not really needed for the MOT (1979 bike)

Seat looks pretty tidy on the bike too !!...

Hard Wired

Wirings being a solid pain in the arse, there are so many shit joints and added wires, it might be quicker for me to rip it all out and start over...

Sneak Peek

Here's a peek at how the 'Zuki build is going.

Like I said way back when I bought the bike, I wanna do a kinda "Wrenchmonkee" style bike on a budget, so far the total spend is around £400 !! not too shabby, I've done all the work myself and bought secondhand where possible...

Hopefuly the bike should be sorted n shook down ready for an MOT at the end of May, (not too rushed at the mo because the weathers so bloody bad here)

More to follow soon as it's gonna all come together pretty rapidly now...

Oh, and its good to be back !! (although in a more "limited" version)
